About the Artist
Peter Mandradjieff was born in Pittsburgh. He lives and works in Brooklyn. Peter received an MFA in painting from Columbia University and a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University. His paintings have been included in group exhibitions including the following: Human Drama curated by Denise Kupferschmidt at Halsey McKay Gallery, East Hampton, NY, March 2013; Peter Mandradjieff, Zak Prekop at Shane Campbell Gallery, Lincoln Park, Chicago, September 2013; and Addicted to Highs and Lows curated by Richard Aldrich, Bortolami Gallery, New York, 2011. He had a solo exhibition, Part and Parcel at The Mine Factory, Pittsburgh, October 2014 and shows work at Concept Gallery in Pittsburgh. Peter also works collaboratively with a band called Hurray, which produces records, videos, and installation art.
